Maurice Enriquez-Sarano obtained his MD degree and medical training from Sorbonne University, Paris, France. He joined the Mayo Clinic, was founding director of the Heart Valve Clinic and Professor of Medicine and founder and past president of the Heart Valve Society. Dr. Sarano authored over 500 peer-reviewed publications/book-chapters and is currently Senior Scientist at the Minneapolis Heart Institute.
