The British Heart Valve Society (BHVS)

Membership of the Society is open to everyone with an interest in valvular heart disease, including: cardiac physiologists, clinical scientists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, acute medical physicians, general practitioners with an interest in cardiology, trainee doctors, veterinarians, managerial, sales and technical staff of instrumentation companies; medical physicists, radiologists, and radiographers, including international colleagues/ retired colleagues. 

After the online payment, your membership subscription is automatically activated, providing immediate access to online resources. Membership payments made by debit or credit card will be processed immediately. 

Membership cancellation policy 

You have 14 days from the sign-up date in which to cancel your membership subscription. 

If you have paid your membership in full and decide to cancel after the 14-day grace period, no refunds are provided. 

If you have paid by Direct Debit your membership will automatically renew using the bank account nominated by you. You may contact us at any time to change your nominated account or cancel your direct debit. 

Meetings cancellation policy 

If you register and pay for a BHVS meeting/event (face-to-face or virtual) you can cancel for a full refund up to 30 days prior to the event(s) commencement date. Past this period, unfortunately we cannot provide a refund.
