Patrick T. O’Gara, MD, MACC, FAHA, FESC, is the Watkins Family Distinguished Chair in Cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He was President of the ACC in 2014-15. Dr. O’Gara is Deputy Editor of JAMA Cardiology and senior investigator for the NHLBI Cardiothoracic Surgery Trial Network.
