We are delighted to support the National Valve Disease Academy 2026, launched by the Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Trust Valve Clinic.
This new programme offers free monthly online teaching dedicated to building strong foundations in heart valve disease, with a clear focus on real-world clinical practice. Designed for physiologists, clinical scientists, and colleagues across the multidisciplinary team, the Academy aims to build confidence in valve assessment and clinical decision-making through practical case discussions and guideline-based learning. By bringing professionals together from across services, the National Valve Disease Academy has been created to strengthen education, improve consistency in practice, and ultimately support the delivery of excellent, patient-centred valve care.

• When: Last Thursday monthly (December: one week earlier)
• Time: 08:00–09:00 AM (free of charge)
• Format: Online (Microsoft Teams)
• CPD: BSE CPD – 5 points total with ≥ 80% attendance
