General cardiology since 2016 including a fellowship in structural heart imaging at the National Heart Center in Singapore. Consultant echocardiologist since 2020.
Specialist valve activity
Run the specialist valve clinic including 2 cardiologists and 2 surgeons and seeing 20 new and 50-70 follow-up cases each week.
Patients seen
Moderate and severe native valve disease, post-endocarditis and post intervention, Mitral prolapse and bicuspid aortic valves
Process
Weekly valve MDT and links to TAVI MDT. Links with all cardiac services. One-stop echo usually available. Patient information leaflets available and satisfaction surveys undertaken.
