PROFESSOR JOHN CHAMBERS
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Professor John Chambers. Professor Chambers was a true pioneer in heart valve disease and a leader in the field, publishing widely in the area and a passionate advocate of patient education and empowerment. He recognised the importance of a society with the sole aim of improving care for patients with heart valve disease and subsequently founded the BHVS in 2010.
